Calistoga Avenue District
The Calistoga Avenue District, being a very small district, was the guinea pig for Heritage Napa’s Historic Districts sign program which will highlight each district, encourage pedestrians to stroll and learn about the neighborhoods. Many of our residents aren’t aware that we have these districts, so I’m pleased to share them with you here.
During my research for the sign program, I learned about each of the districts and the people who inhabited them as they were built. Napa’s history is interesting and is worthy of highlighting and exploring.

I’ve recently learned that this sign program is now part of the City of Napa 2040 General Plan!
If you would like to see this sign program extended to the other districts, please let The City know. Hopefully it will be completed sooner rather than later.
