ABOUT

30 years in. Still obsessed
with getting it right.

We work with wine and spirits brands — boutique wineries finding their footing, and established names ready for a change. If your packaging needs to work harder, we should talk.

AMY LINN

________

With over three decades of design work in Napa Valley, Amy has evolved her craft from award-winning packaging to comprehensive brand design—bringing strategy and storytelling to every touchpoint.

“I love packaging design,
but a brand is so much more than a label or a bottle. Great design solves problems — it creates connections.”

When a project calls for it, I bring in a trusted network of illustrators, photographers, calligraphers and designers — the right blend of creatives for your brand.

FUN FACT

A few of my wine labels are part of the Smithsonian’s permanent collection on the history of wine.

I still think that’s pretty wild.

I would highly recommend Amy
to any winery needing to improve their existing labels,
or reimagine the image of their brand
through new label concepts.”

Prior Experience

Amy began her design career immersed in the wine industry. Earlier in her career, working as a designer for another studio, she helped bring premium wine brands to shelf, creating labels, custom bottle shapes, corks, capsules, and shippers.

Today, that same rigor and wine-industry fluency goes into every Linn Design Studio project.

THE STUDIO

We’re small, but we punch above our weight.

The studio is a light-filled, vintage 1909 building in old town Napa.

We are surrounded by good food, great wine and are within walking distance from home. In other words … inspiration!

Napa is 50 miles north of San Francisco - close enough to be able to day trip to museums and nightlife and yet tucked away in the middle of the Napa Valley, which seems like a world away.
